Social Science at Delhi Public School helps students understand society, history, geography, economics, and the world they live in. The subject focuses on building awareness, critical thinking, and responsible citizenship.
Our MP Board–based curriculum covers important concepts like ancient civilizations, Indian history, world geography, government systems, resources, and economic development. Lessons are taught using maps, charts, stories, and real-life examples to make learning engaging and meaningful.

Course Details
The Social Science curriculum includes three major areas — History, Geography, and Civics/Economics.
Students learn about past civilizations, freedom movements, global cultures, natural resources, climate, government structure, rights & duties, and economic systems. Higher classes explore advanced concepts like political development, global relations, industrial growth, and environmental challenges.
Learning is supported through smart classrooms, maps, projects, storytelling, and activity-based tasks. Regular assessments, assignments, and presentations help students build strong understanding and confidence.
